Aarathy Arun is the Founder Director and Artistic Director of Deekshaa Arts, also known as Aarathy Arun Global Arts, an independent arts institution dedicated to Indian classical music and dance. She is a teaching and performing artist specializing in Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi, as well as Carnatic Music. Aarathy Arun is described as a renowned musician, choreographer, and mentor, with her excellence evident in all her works. She is also a script-writer and a Creative Specialist & Cultural Interpreter. Deekshaa Arts, under her artistic direction, provides high-quality training in these art forms in the UK and online to students worldwide, with courses affiliated with Griffin College London. The institution offers certificate and diploma courses designed to build strong technical foundations, artistic expression, and stage confidence. Aarathy Arun conducts regular in-person music and dance classes in the West Midlands, UK. She has also led arts workshops and projects, including "A Slice of Arts" (funded by The National Lottery Community Fund in 2023) and "Proponents of Love from the garden" (funded by Arts Council England in 2021), for which she held credits for concept, script, artistic direction, and choreography. Her extensive experience in learning, practicing, and teaching, coupled with her passion and devotion towards the arts, positions her as an exceptional artist and mentor.
