Aarthi Arun is an Indian classical dancer specializing in Bharatanatyam and Kathak. She has been learning Bharatanatyam from her guru, Krishna Zivraj-Nair, since 2008. Krishna Zivraj-Nair is the founder and artistic director of the award-winning Sanskruti Cambridge, where Aarthi Arun also serves as a Bharatanatyam Teaching Assistant. Throughout her training, Aarthi Arun has participated in various Bharatanatyam classes and workshops led by esteemed artists such as Smt. Pushkala Gopal, Rukmini Vijayakumar, Guru Padma Murali, and Prathiba Batley. She was also mentored by Anusha Subramanian as part of the Yuva Gati CAT programme from 2015 to 2016. During her university studies, she continued her dance education through online workshops conducted by Guru Madurai Muralidaran. Aarthi Arun has completed her ISTD Grade 3 in Bharatanatyam. Her performance experience includes notable events such as the Cambridge Big Weekend, U.Dance 2018, and the Yuva dance competition at the London Southbank Centre in 2015. She is recognized as a Bharatanatyam teacher on platforms like NatyaNetwork. While actively engaged in teaching and performing, Aarthi Arun is still developing her career in Indian classical dance.
