🪔 About

Aarya Nande is an accomplished Indian classical Odissi dancer, performer, and teacher, based primarily in India. She is a prominent disciple of Guru Gajendra Panda, who himself is a principal disciple of the late Guru Deba Prasad Das. Nande is dedicated to the Odissi style, particularly upholding the concepts of the Guru Deba Prasad Das gharana. She is the director of Nrityashreedhara (NSD) Odissi and Folk Dance Academy, an institution through which she imparts training and organizes workshops. Nande has performed extensively across India at various prestigious festivals and events, including the Modhera Dance Festival, Brahmnad Sangeet Mahotsav in Pune, Raganjali Academy of Performing Arts' festival in New Delhi, and the Khajuraho Dance Festival. Her solo performances, such as the 'Ekaika' series initiated by her guru, aim to revive the solo dance format in Odissi. She is recognized for her attractive stage presence and her ability to convey both benign and ferocious forms of divinity in her invocations. Nande has also brought the timeless beauty of Odissi to events like 'Ninaad' – The Himalayan Arts, Music, and Culture Festival. Awards & Honours: Guru Debaprasad Yuva Pratibha Award (2025).
