Abinaya Arasu is an Indian classical dancer with comprehensive training in Bharatanatyam, Natya Sastra, and Odissi. She is a senior student of the esteemed Smt. Vithya Arasu. Abinaya serves as a dedicated faculty member at Natya Kala Vidyalaya, a prominent institution co-led by Mrs. Vithya Arasu and Mr. Shamitha Hettige. Natya Kala Vidyalaya, based in Pondicherry, India, and Colombo, is committed to preserving and promoting traditional dance forms, offering training in Bharatanatyam, Odissi, Bharatanrithyam, and Kandyan dance. Throughout her career, Abinaya has played a crucial role in assisting Smt. Vithya Arasu in numerous well-received dance workshops conducted across various cities in the Indian subcontinent, including Coimbatore, Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai, Delhi, and Hyderabad. She has also notably assisted in Vithya Arasu's lecture demonstration on the topic of “Angika Abhinaya - Body movements as prescribed in the Natyasastra” at the esteemed Sangeet Natak Academy. Abinaya is recognized for her commitment as a disciple and her active contributions to Natya Kala Vidyalaya's educational and outreach programs.
