Adya Gupta is an emerging Indian classical dancer specializing in Kuchipudi. Her journey in dance began at the age of five, and she has since dedicated 18 to 20 years to the art form. She received rigorous training for 14 years under the esteemed guidance of Padma Bhushan & Padma Shri Awardees Drs. Raja Radha Reddy and Guru Kaushalya Reddy at Natya Tarangini in New Delhi. Adya has also completed a Kathak graduation from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad. Throughout her training, she has had the privilege of performing on various prestigious platforms across India. A significant milestone in her career was her Kuchipudi Rangapravesham, her solo debut, which took place on July 19, 2024, at Kamani Auditorium in New Delhi. Beyond her dance pursuits, Adya Gupta attended Modern School Barakhamba Road and is currently pursuing studies in Politics, Government, and International Relations at SciencesPo in Paris, France. She also began teaching at the academy where she trained approximately two years prior to a July 2020 interview.
