Aishwarya Vijaykumar is a Bharatanatyam dancer, teacher, and the artistic director of Sadhana School of Indian Arts in Ottawa, Canada. She received her initial training from the esteemed dancing couple Padmabhushan Dhananjayans. After relocating to the Middle East, she continued her Bharatanatyam studies under teachers from Kalakshetra. Following a period during which she pursued an MBA in Australia, Aishwarya furthered her artistic journey by training under her current guru, Smt. Deepti Parol, a senior disciple of the Dhananjayans. She has been honored with the title 'Natya Poorna' by Kalakshetra, Qatar. Aishwarya has graced numerous prestigious stages in both India and Canada, including the Guruvayur Temple in Kerala, the Harbourfront Theatre in Toronto, and the Sri Parthasarathy Sabha as part of the Chennai December season. She has also performed a Nritya Katcheri with the Carnatica Brothers in Ottawa. Beyond dance, Aishwarya is a versatile Carnatic music singer, having undergone rigorous training for two decades. She currently imparts her knowledge of Bharatanatyam and Carnatic Music to children, youth, and adults in Ottawa, Ontario. Awards & Honours: Natya Poorna.
