Alen Chandran is an accomplished Indian classical dancer proficient in Kuchipudi, Bharatanatyam, and Mohiniyattam. Her extensive training in Kuchipudi dance took place over many years in India. She received blessings and guidance from her Guru Sri Uday Kanth Jaiswal, who is a direct disciple of the revered and legendary Guru Sri Padmabhushan Dr. Vempati Chinna Satyam. Alen Chandran continues her journey in this divine path of art by maintaining a receptive approach to continuous learning. Originally from Kottayam, Kerala, India, she embarked on a new chapter when she migrated to Stockholm, Sweden, in 2000. Before dedicating herself fully to the arts, she pursued a successful and captivating career as an accountant, having worked with prestigious airlines such as Air India and Qatar Airways. Beyond her professional life, she is also recognized as an accomplished model. In Sweden, Alen Chandran has made significant contributions to the promotion of Indian classical dance by establishing what has been lauded as Sweden's finest Indian dance school, known for its high-quality instruction and captivating performances. She is currently expanding her teaching legacy by initiating Kuchipudi lessons for the first time in Stockholm. A testament to her artistry and dedication, she had the distinct honor of performing an intimate recital at India House in Stockholm for the King and Queen of Sweden. In addition to her artistic and educational endeavors, Alen Chandran currently holds the position of CEO at a recently established auditing firm in Sweden.
