Amukta Maalyada Anand is an accomplished artist in the field of Kuchipudi dance. She received extensive training from her guru, "Kala Ratna" Smt A. B. Bala Kondala Rao, and performed her arangetram in 2002. She holds a Diploma with Distinction in Kuchipudi Dance from Potti Sri Ramulu Telugu University, Hyderabad, and a Post Graduate degree in dance with a specialization in Kuchipudi from Andhra University. Amukta Maalyada Anand has performed widely in India and internationally, and her performances have been well-received. She has taken on lead roles in her Guru's ballets, portraying characters such as Rama, Sita, Ramanujulu, Vishnu, Andal, and Durga. She has also conducted numerous lecture demonstrations alongside her Guru across India and abroad. Her career includes a lead role in Padmasri Dr. K. Vishwanath's movie “Swarbhishekam”. In 2011, she was selected as a Cultural Ambassador from India by "Rotary International", leading to a dance tour across the United States of America. Beyond her performing career, Amukta Maalyada Anand is dedicated to nurturing young talent, teaching Kuchipudi dance for over eight years at "Kuchipudi Kalaa Kendram" in Visakhapatnam. She is an Engineering Graduate in computer science from J.N.T.U and is married to Sri A. Anand Sri Hari, a professional Mridangam artist.
