Anjana Babbar is a trained dance professional proficient in Indian Classical Kathak, Bollywood, Spanish-Arabic fusion, and Indian Folk dancing. She received her dance training for 11 years in India under the guidance of her guru, where she explored a diverse repertoire of dance forms ranging from traditional to modern and experimental. Driven by her passion and a desire to serve her community, Anjana Babbar founded the Jeevan Gopal Dance Academy in Edmonton, Canada, in 2010. As the Founder and Artistic Director, she leads what is described as a renowned Bollywood and Indian dance academy in Edmonton. She currently shares her passion through her dance school in Edmonton and Beaumont, training budding dancers across various age groups. Her academy's performers are recognized in Alberta for their vibrant, colorful, and energetic dance presentations. Anjana Babbar also choreographs for a wide range of events, including fashion shows, beauty pageants, awards ceremonies, charity shows, fundraisers, festivals across Canada, and corporate events. Her annual dance showcase, JGDA FEST, is noted as a significant Bollywood dance event in Alberta.
