Ankita Kaushik is an accomplished Indian classical dancer specializing in Bharatanatyam. She commenced her training at the age of eight under Ms. Deepika Gupta, a disciple of the esteemed Padmabhushan awardee Guru Dr. Saroja Vaidyanathan. Kaushik further honed her skills directly under the tutelage of Guru Saroja Vaidyanathan herself. She performed her arangetram in July 2010, marking her official debut in Bharatanatyam. Since then, she has been actively involved in learning, teaching, and performing the classical dance form. Ankita Kaushik has performed extensively across India and internationally alongside her Guru. She holds a position as a senior faculty member at Ganesa Natyalaya, her Guru's institution, since 2013. In addition to her role at Ganesa Natyalaya, she also imparts Bharatanatyam training in Gurgaon (Haryana), Jaipur, and other parts of Rajasthan. She has assisted her Guru in numerous significant dance festivals, including the Global Heritage Series, the World Cultural Festival, and the Nritta AkhandaNrityam, a 24-hour non-stop Bharatanatyam event. As one of the principal dancers of Ganesa Natyalaya, she has contributed to annual functions and various programs both in India and abroad. Kaushik is also an active promoter of arts, having conducted several workshops and educational programs for schools. Awards & Honours: Sahitya Kala Parishad Scholarship (2017), Kalashree.
