Ankitha Durvasula is an Indian classical dancer specializing in Kuchipudi, one of the eight classical dance styles recognized by the Sangeet Natak Akademi. She is associated with the Kalanidhi Dance Company, based in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area, which explores creative and contemporary ideas through the vocabulary of Kuchipudi while retaining the essence of the classical form. Durvasula completed her Rangapravesham, marking the beginning of her professional dance career, in 2018. She has performed in various productions with the Kalanidhi Dance Company. In 2019, she was featured in a performance of Kuchipudi dance by the Kalanidhi Dance Company at the Library of Congress, where she performed in pieces such as "Siva Stuthi" and "Synergy". She was also a dancer in Kalanidhi Dance's original production "Red Earth and Pouring Rain" in 2020. Her training is implicitly under Anuradha Nehru, the founder and artistic director emerita of Kalanidhi Dance, as her fellow dancer Ramya Durvasula, who frequently performs with Ankitha, is a student of Anuradha Nehru.
