Anna Grover

Anna Grover is a Bharatanatyam dancer based in Hamburg, Germany. Her early dance training began at the age of four with ballet lessons, subsequently expanding to include modern dance, improvisation, and jazz dance. In 1991, she earned a state-approved diploma as a teacher of dance and dance-based gymnastics after completing a pedagogic education at the Lola-Rogge-School in Hamburg. Grover received her initial Bharatanatyam training from Madhumita Saha in Hamburg. In 1996, she commenced intensive classical dance education with Vijaya Rao, continuing her studies at the Nateschwara Academy in Switzerland. She completed her basic training in Bharatanatyam with her Ranga Pravesha (stage debut) in 2010. Since 2010, Anna Grover has been a member of the Nateschwara Dance Company, regularly performing under the guidance of Vijaya Rao and continuing her studies at the Nateschwara Academy to broaden her knowledge and repertoire. Her teacher, Vijaya Rao, has commended Grover for her unique respect, patience, endurance, and sense of perfection, citing her as a living example of a classic teacher-student relationship.
