Anuhya Naidu Mallepudi is a dedicated and inspirational figure in the Indian classical dance form of Kuchipudi, based in Hyderabad, India. She has immersed herself in the art for over 22 years, embracing its discipline, spirituality, and cultural richness, with over 16 years of experience as a dancer. Her journey in Kuchipudi began at a young age under the guidance of her gurus, including Padma Shree awardee Ms. G. Padmaja Reddy. Anuhya views Kuchipudi not merely as a dance form but as a lifelong calling and a spiritual journey, a medium to express love and divinity. She holds a distinction in her diploma course and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Kuchipudi from the prestigious Potti Sriramulu University in Hyderabad. In 2020, Anuhya Naidu Mallepudi founded Nrityangana, a distinguished Kuchipudi dance academy, with the vision of creating a space where others could experience the art form in its truest essence. Nrityangana aims to nurture talent, foster a deeper appreciation for classical arts, and serve as a platform for individuals to connect with tradition, culture, devotion, and self-expression through dance. As an instructor, Anuhya is known for her professional and holistic teaching approach, covering foundational techniques, intricate expressions, storytelling elements, and the historical, devotional, and cultural context of Kuchipudi. She is committed to creating an inclusive environment, teaching students of all ages, including those significantly older than herself.
