Anusha Sajeev, previously known as Anusha Varathalingam, is an accomplished Indian classical dance practitioner, teacher, and choreographer. Her journey in dance saw her present her inaugural arangetram in 1989, an event supported by Narthana Kalalayam and WFTS. Demonstrating a commitment to nurturing new talent, Anusha Sajeev commenced her teaching career in 1994. She subsequently established her own institution, Sakthi Fine Arts, where she dedicated herself to teaching from 2000 to 2014. During this period, she successfully guided 28 students through their arangetrams, marking significant milestones in their classical dance training. Following her tenure at Sakthi Fine Arts in the UK, Anusha Sajeev relocated to Canada. Despite the move, she has continued to actively engage in the world of Indian classical dance, consistently choreographing and performing Bharatanatyam and other dance styles across various platforms. Her professional experience also includes collaboration with the renowned film dance choreographer Kala master. As a creative force, Anusha Sajeev serves as the Creative Director for innovative productions, such as "KRISHNA : One Flute, Many Loves," which integrates Bharatanatyam with semi-classical dance forms. Her leadership extends to the Sakthi Fine Arts Youth Dance Group, for which she provides choreography, showcasing the talents of her students.
