Anushkaa Ramanatan is an emerging Bharatanatyam dancer from Mumbai, India. She is a dedicated disciple of Guru Shri Kalishwaran Pillai, under whose tutelage she has honed her skills in this classical Indian dance form. Anushkaa is also an alumna of the esteemed Nalanda Nritya Kala Mahavidyalaya, further solidifying her foundational training and artistic development. Her talent and commitment to Bharatanatyam have been recognized through various performances and accolades. Anushkaa has graced prestigious stages, including a performance at The Indian Fine Arts Society, Chennai, during the renowned Margazhi Season, where she presented a 'kutty mārgam' with the support of a musical ensemble. She has also been a participant in the Nalanda Nrityotsava in Mumbai, an event organized by the Nalanda Dance Research Centre, which showcases young classical dancers from across the country. In 2026, Anushkaa Ramanatan achieved significant recognition by winning the First prize in the Solo Senior category Bharatanatyam competition of Nritya Samiksana, an event conducted by Alobha. Her outstanding performances have also earned her the Nalanda Nritya Nipuna award, bestowed by the Nalanda Dance Research Centre. These achievements highlight her growing presence and potential within the Indian classical dance community as a dedicated performer.
