Anvita Jain is an emerging Bharatanatyam dancer who has been training in the classical art form since the age of seven under the tutelage of Padmashri Guru Vidushi Geeta Chandran at Natya Vriksha in New Delhi, India. She is a dedicated student who has imbibed not only the technique but also the profound philosophies of Bharatanatyam from her guru. Anvita is a student of Modern School, Barakhamba Road, and has actively performed at various cultural platforms within the city, including Durga Puja celebrations at Niti Bagh lawns. Her performances also extend to national-level events such as the CBSE Expression Series and the CBSE National Adolescent Summit 2023. Beyond her dance pursuits, Anvita is also a trained swimmer and has represented her school in inter-school competitions and the Indian Public Schools' Conference. She is scheduled to present her Arangetram, a debut solo Bharatanatyam recital, on August 8, 2025, at the Chinmaya Mission Auditorium in New Delhi, an event hosted by Natya Vriksha. This ceremonial debut marks a significant rite of passage in her journey as a classical dancer.
