Archana Chandrasekaran is a renowned Bharatanatyam dancer, choreographer, and the Founder and Artistic Director of Archana School of Dance. Her foundational training in Bharatanatyam began in Trichy under Mrs. Madhavi Chandrasekar, where she also performed her Arangetram. She continued her studies with Dr. Srividya Sundaresan. Archana Chandrasekaran has further honed her artistry as a student of the esteemed Nritya Kalanidhi Kalaimamani Padmashri Dr. Narthaki Nataraj. She frequently accompanies Dr. Narthaki Nataraj in workshops, serving as a Nattuvangam artist. Archana is deeply committed to preserving and promoting the rich cultural heritage of Thanjavur choreography within the dance community. She is an active performing artist, having presented her work at various dance festivals and locations. Her performances include traditional pieces such as Pushpanjali. Through her Archana School of Dance, she is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of passionate Bharatanatyam dancers.
