Aryamba Sriram is an accomplished Bharatanatyam dancer, recognized for her profound talent and extensive training. She received advanced training in Kalakshetra, a renowned institution for Indian classical arts. Her career has seen her perform extensively across India and internationally, including in Japan, Australia, Cambodia, Germany, and Malaysia. A significant part of her professional journey includes being a member of Vid. Leela Samson's internationally acclaimed Spanda Dance Company, where she contributed to their renowned ensembles. Aryamba Sriram's performances are characterized by a compelling blend of abhinaya (expressive dance) and nritta (pure dance), showcasing both her technical prowess and emotional depth. She is noted for her devout offerings, which are resplendent with bhakti (devotion), grace, and rasa (aesthetic flavor). Her recent collaborations include working with esteemed Carnatic musicians such as Vid. Gayathri Venkatraghavan on 'Arunachalanatham in Saranga' and Rahul Vellal on the 'Bhagavad Gita'. She has also performed for prestigious events like The Music Academy HCL concerts, where her choice of pieces, including compositions by Ponniah Pillai, Kshetrayya, Chinniah, and Oothukadu Venkatakavi, allowed her to demonstrate her versatility and artistic finesse. Her performances have been choreographed by notable figures such as Leela Samson, Bragha Bessel, and K. P. Rakesh.
