Ashwini Srivatsan is an Indian classical dancer, singer, and educator with over 25 years of training in Bharatanatyam from Smt. Nirmala Madhava and Bharatanrityam from Smt. Sundari Santhanam. She has also studied Kathak, Sadir, Natya Shastra, and Indian philosophies. Ashwini has taught Bharatanatyam at New Mexico State University, co-founded Tattva Dance Academy, and is known for her choreography, including 'Amugdha Malyada' and 'Hindu Swing'. She also has training in Hindustani and Carnatic classical singing and Veenai.
