Baishakhi Ganguli is an Odissi dancer and the founder of Rhythm Dance Academy. She is a disciple of Guru Dona Ganguly, who herself is a prominent exponent of Odissi and a student of the legendary Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra. Baishakhi Ganguli has been actively involved in promoting and teaching Odissi, an Indian classical dance form. Her career includes performances both in India and internationally. In 2009, she performed "Nabadurga" at the National Festival of Odissi Dance & Music in Kolkata, India. More recently, in May 2026, she represented Odissi at the "Melbourne Meets Modi" event in Melbourne, Australia, indicating her current base of operation. Her dance group, Rhythm, also performs Odissi-based Rabindranritya. As the head of Rhythm Dance Academy, Baishakhi Ganguli offers both online and offline classes, aiming to provide comprehensive training in Odissi dance. The academy emphasizes flexible learning options, expert instructors, and performance opportunities for its students. Through her academy, she continues to nurture new talent and contribute to the propagation of Odissi dance.
