Bhagyashree Aich, born on August 27, 2000, is an Odissi dancer from Cuttack, Odisha, India. She completed her Master in Performing Arts (Odissi) from Sambalpur University in 2022. Her academic background also includes a +3 Arts (Hons-Sanskrit) from J.K.B.K. Degree Govt. College, Cuttack (2020), +2 Arts from J.K.B.K. Junior Govt. College, Cuttack (2017), and her 10th standard from Ravenshaw Girls High School, Cuttack (2015). Since 2018, Aich has served as an Assistant Teacher at Gunjan Dance Academy in Cuttack. The academy, founded in 1995 by Smt. Meera Das, is dedicated to preserving and promoting the classical and traditional art of Odissi. Throughout her career, Bhagyashree Aich has performed in numerous prestigious festivals across India. These include the Mukteswar Dance Festival, Konark Dance Festival, Khajurao Dance Festival, and the India International Dance Festival in 2018. She was also featured in the Udayaraag Dance Series by the Orissa Dance Academy in 2021 and the International Odissi Dance Festival (IODF 2023). Her performance credits also encompass the Barabati Festival, Kuanria Mahotshav in Dashpalla (2015), 44th Annual Conference of Odisha Radiological & Imaging Association (2016), Pankaj Charan Das Award Festival (2017), All India Radiologist Conference (2017), Jajpur Mahostav, IOCL Conference, District Level Youth Festival (2017), Saptashajya Festival (2019), Satasahi Katak Nrutya Ustav, and Nirtyaasha Festival (2018). Her achievements include a Senior Scholarship from the Ministry of Culture, CCRT, New Delhi, Govt. of India in 2022. She has also received the Pragnya Prativa Award (2015), Lions Idol (2017), Nrutya Naivedya Odissi Prativa Ustav (2017), and an award in the Sri Sri Music & Dance Competition (2019). In 2023, she completed her fifth year in Odissi dance from Prachina Kala Kendra, Chandigarh. Beyond Odissi, she is skilled in composing Sambalpuri dance, semi-classical dance, and modern dance.
