Charvee Reddy is an accomplished Kuchipudi dancer and a dedicated guru, boasting over two decades of experience as both a performer and an educator in the classical Indian dance form. She received her rigorous training and artistic foundation as a devoted disciple of the esteemed Guru Uma Rama Rao garu. Further enhancing her profound understanding and practice of Kuchipudi, Charvee Reddy holds a master's degree in performing arts. Throughout her extensive and active career, Charvee Reddy has graced numerous stages and participated in a multitude of significant productions and festivals. She has been an integral part of all the productions presented by Lasya Priya, consistently showcasing her exceptional talent and unwavering dedication to the art form. Her impressive performance repertoire includes notable appearances at the Yakshagana Festival in 2002, the "Shankara Pallavi Seva Prabandham" in New Delhi, and presentations of works such as "Nava Durga," "King Shahaji's Tanjavur Hindi Yakshagana," and "Venkateshwara Kalyanam." In 2008, she presented "Kuchipudi Natya Kaisiki Shobha," and she was a featured artist at the Kuchipudi Dance Festival in both 2006 and 2012. Her performances have also encompassed "Srinivasa Gadhyam" at Tirupati, "Matrushri Tarigonda Vengamamba Kavitha Parijatham-Pada Nartana Manjari" in Tirupati, the Akila Karnataka Kuchipudi festival in Bangalore, and the Taj Mahotsav in 2012. Additionally, she has performed in various other locations including Ananthapur, the Rajarajeshwari Temple in Hyderabad, and Vikarabad. Committed to the propagation and preservation of Kuchipudi, Charvee Reddy established her own esteemed dance institution, "Kaisiki Shoba | School of Indian Classical Dances," situated in Indiranagar, Bangalore, India. Through her academy, she diligently imparts her extensive knowledge, artistic insights, and profound passion for Kuchipudi to aspiring dancers, nurturing the next generation of artists.
