Damayanti Bhatiya Miradwal is a distinguished Indian classical Kathak dancer, dedicated educator, and the visionary director of Aarambh Kathak Studio, based in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India. Her profound understanding and mastery of Kathak are rooted in extensive training received from highly respected figures in the dance form. She has had the privilege of learning under eminent gurus such as Padmashree Dr. Puru Dadheech ji and Guru Pt. Jaikishan Maharaj ji, absorbing diverse stylistic nuances. Furthermore, she is recognized as a senior disciple of Dr. Suchitra Harmalkar tai, representing the esteemed Raighar Gharana, which further enriches her artistic lineage and performance repertoire. Miradwal has cultivated a significant career as a performer, showcasing her artistry on various prestigious stages across India. Her notable appearances include performances at the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) in Delhi, the internationally acclaimed Khajuraho Dance Festival, the Madhya Pradesh Sthapna Divas in Guwahati, and the Banbhatt Samaroh organized by the Kalidas Akademi. These platforms highlight her recognition and active participation in the national classical dance circuit. Beyond her captivating performances, Damayanti Bhatiya Miradwal demonstrates a deep commitment to the propagation and education of Kathak. Currently, Miradwal is also pursuing advanced academic research, undertaking a PhD under the esteemed guidance of Padmashree Dr. Puru Dadheech ji at Sri Sri Ravishankar University, Odisha.
