Deepti Gupta is a renowned Kathak dancer, choreographer, trainer, and visionary in the arts, primarily based in Agra and Delhi, India. She commenced her Kathak journey at the age of 3.5 years, receiving her initial training under the tutelage of Shri Dheerendra Tiwari and later under the legendary Guru Pt. Rajendra Gangani. Her extensive training also includes working with other eminent gurus such as Gitanjali Lal, Jai Kishan Maharaj, Smt. Sharmishtha Mukherjee, Padma Bhushan Guru Saroja Vaidynathan, and Padam Bhushan Guru Kumudini Lakhia. Gupta is the founder and managing director of the Trayam Dance & Cultural Foundation, also known as Deeptrayam Dance and Cultural Foundation, which was established in 2014 in New Delhi. The foundation is dedicated to the promotion and preservation of Indian classical arts and has successfully trained over 6,355 students through structured courses, diplomas, and certification programs. As a panelled artist, Deepti Gupta's work has been recognized by prestigious organizations including the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), Doordarshan ('B' grade Artist), SPIC MACAY, the Ministry of Culture, Sahitya Kala Parishad, and the Sangeet Natak Akademi. She is also pursuing her Ph.D. in Kathak from Banasthali Vidyapeeth. Her career includes numerous national and international performances, with international appearances in countries like China, Mongolia, the United Kingdom, Malaysia, and Bahrain. She has performed at various prominent Indian festivals such as Narmada Mahaotsav, Konark Festival, and Kathak Mahaotsav.
