Saidharshana Dhantu began her Bharatanatyam training at the age of six under the tutelage of Guru Smt. Uma Palam Pulendran at Natya Dhaara – Center for Performing Arts. She performed her Bharatanatyam Arangetram, a debut solo performance, at the age of 12 in early 2015 at the Sylvia Beard Theater in Buford Community Center. Currently, she continues her training under Guru Smt. Sathvikaa Shankar Gokul, a leading performing artist and teacher based in Chennai, India. Dhantu is recognized as a promising dancer, having performed solo recitals and received honors in both India and the United States. She is actively involved in the Bharatanatyam community in the US, serving as the Performance Cohort Coordinator for Atlanta Adavu, an arts collective founded in 2024. In 2025, she co-captained Srishti, the performance wing of Atlanta Adavu, and was involved in choreographing "The Eyes of Devotion," which is set to premiere in November 2025. Her aim is to promote the Bharatanatyam art form within her community and among her peers to disseminate diverse culture and foster healthier minds and bodies.
