Dheerendra Tiwari is a distinguished Indian classical Kathak dancer, known for his mastery of the Jaipur Gharana style. His journey in Kathak began under the initial guidance of Guru Ruchi Sharma and Guru Taposh Giri. He pursued advanced training under Pandit Rajendra Gangani, a leading exponent of the Jaipur Gharana, where he honed his technical precision and understanding of the gharana's stylistic nuances. Tiwari completed his Nritya Prabhakar in Kathak from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad, and furthered his studies at Kathak Kendra, New Delhi, where he earned a Diploma (Hons.) and graduated as a topper. He has been a recipient of prestigious scholarships from Sahitya Kala Parishad and Kathak Kendra. Throughout his career, Dheerendra Tiwari has presented numerous solo performances at major festivals across India and internationally, including the Darbar Festival at Sadler's Wells in London, the Khajuraho Festival, Kathak Mahotsav, and the Edinburgh International Dance Festival. He has also been an integral part of the Aditi Mangaldas Dance Company – The Drishtikon Dance Foundation, serving as a senior repertory member and rehearsal director. Additionally, he has worked as a rehearsal director for the Aakash Odedra Dance Company (UK). Tiwari has collaborated on and performed in group productions and choreographic works by renowned artists such as Pt. Jai Kishan Maharaj, Shri Krishan Mohan Mishra, Smt. Vaswati Misra, Smt. Geetanjali Lal, Smt. Aditi Mangaldas, Smt. Chetna Jalan, and Kumudini Lakhia. He is also an educator, currently serving as a senior Kathak faculty at Bharatiya Kala Kendra in Mandi House, New Delhi.
