Divya Warrier is a highly experienced and passionate Indian classical dancer, specializing in Bharatanatyam and Mohiniyattam. She is the founder and director of Divyam School of Performing Arts, located in Round Rock, near Austin, Texas, USA. Her extensive dance journey began at the age of eight under the esteemed guidance of Guru Smt. Bhavani, an acclaimed artist recognized by the Sangeet National Academy and Kerala Kalamandalam. Divya further honed her skills through more than five years of intensive training with Guru R.L.V Pradeep Kumar. Currently, she continues her pursuit of artistic excellence under the mentorship of the renowned Guru Dr. Sreedhara Akhihebbalu, based in the USA. With decades of expertise, Divya Warrier has established herself as a dedicated performer and educator. She has presented over 100 stage performances across various prestigious venues in India, Singapore, and the United States. Her notable performance highlights include appearances at the Soorya Dance Festival in Kerala, India, the Chithirai Thiruvizha Festival in Singapore in 2016, where she was an award recipient, and the Esplanade Theatre in Singapore for the Asianet Onam Program. She has also performed multiple times at The University of Texas, Austin, in 2018, 2019, and 2022, and at the Literary Association of North America's 25th Anniversary in 2022. Additionally, she has graced stages at the Swaralaya Festival in Palakkad, Kerala, India, and the Houston Guruvayoorappan Temple in the USA. At Divyam School of Performing Arts, Divya Warrier provides expert guidance and a structured curriculum in Bharatanatyam and Mohiniyattam. The school offers beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes, aiming to foster a transformative journey through movement, expression, and cultural heritage for students of all ages and backgrounds.
