Guru Ranga Vivekanandan is a significant figure in Kuchipudi, an Indian classical dance form. He is recognized as a disciple of the legendary Guru Vempati Chinna Satyam. Vivekanandan is credited with establishing the first school of Kuchipudi in Argentina. This pioneering institution was founded approximately 20 years prior to March 2021, placing its inception around 2001. His contributions to Indian classical dance were acknowledged with a live performance tribute at the First Latin American Congress of Indian Classical Dance, which took place virtually in March 2021. This congress was organized by the Indian Cultural Center, Güngur, Buenos Aires, Argentina, with support from the Indian Embassy and the Indian Ministry of Culture, highlighting his role in promoting Kuchipudi internationally.
