Her extensive training in Indian classical dance was acquired at two prominent institutions in India: the Nalanda Nritya Kala Mahavidyalaya in Mumbai and the Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth in Pune. During her studies, she had the privilege of training under the esteemed Guru Shri Vaibhav Arekar, a notable figure in Bharatanatyam. Throughout her artistic career, Gyansi Naik Kathiriya has graced numerous prestigious stages, including the renowned Konark Festival, the devotional Natyanjali Festival, and the esteemed Music Academy in Chennai. She has also had the opportunity to perform alongside veteran artists, such as the acclaimed dancer and actress Sudha Chandran. In Charlotte, North Carolina, she has established and leads NRITYA AANGAN Bharatanatyam Dance Class, an institution dedicated to fostering excellence in Bharatanatyam performance and expanding its pedagogical reach within the community.
