Jyoti Mansukhani is a distinguished Indian classical dance figure, primarily known for her contributions to Kathak as a dancer, teacher, organizer, and cultural worker. She holds a Physics degree from the University of Mumbai and a Master's in Indology from Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth. After working in major companies, she dedicated herself extensively to dance and cultural initiatives. Mansukhani has trained under several eminent Gurus and continues her Kathak training under Smt. Tejaswini Sathe. For over two decades, she has been instrumental in organizing dance competitions in Indian classical and folk forms. She played a key role in instituting the Late Pt. Lachchu Maharaj Award for Kathak and the Late Acharya Parvati Kumar Award for Bharatanatyam, and also launched Ekal Nritya Utsav to provide a platform for solo performers. In 2009, she released a DVD titled “My Journey with Kathak Maestros.” Her vision and organizational skills were notably demonstrated in 2024 with "Nrityachakra," an event that brought together 1,188 Kathak dancers from twenty cities across Maharashtra, achieving recognition in record books for their continuous performance. Mansukhani is also the principal author of "Nrityaकर्मी," a book dedicated to Guru Pta. Maneesha Sathe ji, reflecting her commitment to documenting and preserving artistic legacies. Her work through the Prerana Foundation underscores her broader purpose in cultural activity. Awards & Honours: Recognition in record books for Nrityachakra event (2024).
