Sarvepalli Madhavimala is an accomplished Indian classical dancer specializing in the Kuchipudi style. Her foundational training began early under the tutelage of Sri Vempati Kodanda Rama Sastry, a distinguished figure and son of Sri Vempati Venkatanarayana, who was part of the esteemed Kuchipudi Trinity. Madhavimala further honed her artistic and stylistic techniques through advanced training with well-known Gurus, including Dr. K. Uma Rama Rao and Sri Vedantam Prahalada Sarma. Throughout her career, she has graced numerous prestigious stages across India and has also performed internationally, showcasing her dedication and mastery of the Kuchipudi art form. In recognition of her significant contributions and commitment to Kuchipudi, the State Government of Andhra Pradesh honored her with the title 'Kala Ratna'. Madhavimala is also a co-founder of the "Nrityamala Academy of Indian Dances and Centre for Higher Learning," an institution she established alongside Gurus Dr. Uma Vyjayanthimala and Sudhamala.
