Mahathi Ramya Adivishnu is an Indian classical dancer and teacher specializing in Kuchipudi and Bharatanatyam. She received her training in these classical dance forms under the tutelage of Guru A. Parvathi Ramachandran Garu and Guru Vedantham Radheshyam Garu in Andhra Pradesh, India. Mahathi Ramya has a significant performance career, having presented over 500 shows across India, including performances at revered temples such as Srisailam and Vijayawada Durga temple. She has also been recognized with several prizes in dance competitions and university youth festivals. Continuing the legacy of her Guru, Agraharam Parvathi Ramachandran, who founded Kala Deepika Nruthya Academy in Eluru, Andhra Pradesh, in 1979, Mahathi Ramya Adivishnu established her own branch, Kala Deepika Academy, in Leander, Texas, approximately eight years ago. She has been actively teaching Kuchipudi for the past ten years, with a mission to promote and preserve Indian classical dance traditions. Her academy in Leander, Texas, offers regular classes, and she also provides online dance lessons. Beyond her dance career, Mahathi Ramya is also a software professional and a blogger. She is currently pursuing her Master's in Kuchipudi at Aria University, California.
