Malabika Jena is an Indian classical Odissi dancer and teacher. She completed her Prarambhik Exams 1 & 2 from Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh, between 2005 and 2006. Furthering her dance education, she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Performing Arts (Visharad Pratham Exam) from Gandharv Mahavidhyalay Mandal, Mumbai, in 2022. Jena has performed Odissi dance at various events, including the Gunjan Dance & Music Festival in 2014. She is also an alumna of the Gunjan Dance Academy, an institution dedicated to Odissi under the guidance of Smt. Meera Das. Malabika Jena is a recipient of the National Junior Fellowship in Odissi Dance from The Center for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. She founded 'Nrityakaya' Institute for Dance and Art in Bangalore, India, and has been involved with 'Prayas', an NGO that teaches dance and performance skills to specially-abled children. Currently, she has relocated to Sweden with the aim of propagating Indian culture and Odissi dance. Awards & Honours: National Junior Fellowship (Odissi Dance).
