Dr. Malati Agneswaran is a prominent figure in Indian classical dance, primarily associated with Bharatanatyam, and holds significant academic and administrative positions in the field. She serves as the Head of Department at Nalanda Nritya Kala Mahavidyalaya, an institution under the management of the Nalanda Dance Research Centre in Mumbai, India. Her involvement extends to curriculum development and academic governance, as she is a member of the Ad-hoc Board of Studies in Dance at Mumbai University and an advisory committee member for inter-collegiate university competitions within the Department of Students Welfare, Mumbai University.
