Mayavaram T. Viswanathan is a renowned Mrudangam artist and percussionist, highly regarded for his accompaniment in both music and dance concerts. He completed his graduation from the Tamilnadu Music College in 1990 and further honed his skills under the tutelage of the esteemed Mridangam maestro Guruvayur Dorai. Viswanathan has performed extensively with leading musicians and dancers, including the acclaimed duo The Dhananjayans, and has also engaged in collaborative projects with jazz artists in France.
