Meledam Narayanan is an Indian classical artist specializing in Kathakali music. Born on May 16, 1973, his parents are Narayanan Namboodiri N.M. and Devaki Antharjanam. He holds a BSc in Mathematics and a BEd in Mathematics. His musical journey began at the age of eight, learning Carnatic music under Mr. A. Sahadevan for five years. Following this, he dedicated seven years to learning Kathakali music from Palanad Divakaran, and then continued his training for another five years under Kalamandalam Sankaran Embranthiri. He also undertook a two-month short-term course in Kathakali music at Kerala Kalamandalam, guided by Madambi Subrahmanian Namboothiri. Meledam Narayanan is based in Malappuram, Kerala, India, and is recognized as a Kathakali musician.
