Mrs. Esha Goyal is an International Kathak Dance Artist, Choreographer, and Dance Teacher, and the Founder and Director of Sahaj School of Dance LLC, established in March 2015. She imparts Kathak dance training to students aged six and up, including adults, and prepares them for Kathak Certification from the Foundation to Diploma levels through Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University School Of Performing Arts, Pune, India. She also teaches Bollywood dance to various age groups. Her extensive Kathak training includes earning a Praveen Sangeet Acharya Degree (equivalent to a Masters in Kathak Dance) in 2006 and Sangeet Prabhakar & Visharad Degrees (equivalent to a Bachelors in Kathak Dance) in 2004 from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad, India, and Bhatkhande Sangeet Vidyapith, Lucknow, India. She also holds a Prarambhik in Hindustani Music - Vocal from Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal, Mumbai, India (2006), and a Junior Diploma in Tabla from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad, India (2004-2005). Mrs. Goyal has further enhanced her Kathak skills through workshops with notable gurus such as Smt. Pali Chandra ji, the late Pandit Shri Birju Maharaj ji, Pandit Shri Rajendra Gangani ji, and Guru Smt. Shambhavi Dandekar ji. Her teaching career began as a Kathak Dance Teacher at Amity International School, Mayur Vihar, New Delhi, India, from 2004 to 2007. She also taught Kathak dance in Germany from 2007 to 2008. In the United States, she has served as a Resident Teacher at Canajoharie-Nirmal Arts Academy in New York (2023 & 2024) and conducted workshops at Queens University of Charlotte, NC (2020), Cornelius Elementary School (2018), Florida Sahaja Yoga Winter Seminar (2018), and Blythe Legette Elementary School in Huntersville, North Carolina (2015). Sahaj School of Dance organizes annual recitals and provides performance opportunities for its students.
