Mrs. Suchithra Sajeev is an accomplished Indian classical dancer, choreographer, and educator, deeply rooted in Bharatanatyam, Mohiniyattam, Kuchipudi, and Kerala Natanam. She began her dance journey at the tender age of three and has accumulated over 25 years of intensive training and dedication to these art forms. Her training includes traditional Kalakshetra-style instruction, and she honed her skills under gurus like Sri. Raju Master and Sri. Sivanandan Nair at Swathi Thirunal College of Music. Academically, she holds a B.Tech in Computer Science and an MFA in Bharatanatyam. Throughout her career, Mrs. Suchithra Sajeev has achieved significant recognition, including five 'Kalathilakam' titles in Kerala School Youth Festivals and numerous awards at college and university youth festivals. She was honored with the 'Nritha Prathibha' Award in 2000 by Sarga Kalakendra in Kerala and received the "Amazing Teacher Award" from Big Idea, Dubai, in both 2018 and 2019. She has performed extensively across India and the UAE, presented live television programs for over five years, and anchored various public and cultural events. She has also choreographed numerous dance programs in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, including for the Kerala Social Center (KSC) and India Social Centre (ISC). Mrs. Suchithra Sajeev is the founder of IndianNatya LLP, a premier online academy established in 2014, dedicated to Indian classical dance, music, yoga, and arts education. Building on over a decade of successful teaching experience in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, where she trained thousands of students, IndianNatya now operates globally from Kochi, Kerala, India, offering live online classes to students across more than 25 countries. She provides academic guidance for the Bharatanatyam classes, which incorporate traditional Kalakshetra-style training with personalized instruction for all age groups and skill levels, including Arangetram preparation. Many adult students, including professionals, have successfully completed their Arangetram at Guruvayur Temple under her supervision.
