Ingkarat Sivamatheewit is a Kathak dancer and an ICCR Scholar, actively involved in promoting Indian classical dance in Thailand. She serves as a Kathak teacher at the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre (SVCC), Embassy of India, Bangkok. Ms. Sivamatheewit has performed Kathak at various cultural events, showcasing the art form and its connection with Thai culture. Notably, she performed as Parvati in "Natya Sangama," a ballet that presented a confluence of Indian classical and Thai dance forms on November 14, 2020. She also presented Kathak at the "4th World Ramayana Conference 2026" held in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, India, from January 2-4, 2026. Additionally, she performed a "Semi Classical dance- Ram Bhajan" at the "Diwali Festival Bangkok 2025" at ICONSIAM on October 18, 2025. Ms. Sivamatheewit has also participated in a Guinness World Records attempt for Kathak in Khajuraho, Madhya Pradesh, where the choreography was by Pt. Rajendra Gangani. She regularly conducts Kathak classes and workshops at the SVCC, with new batches commencing, such as one on July 5, 2025. Awards & Honours: ICCR Scholar.
