Nithika Yechuri is a Kuchipudi dancer and teacher based in the Seattle, Washington area. She commenced her Kuchipudi training at the age of four and has been learning the art form for over 12 years under the tutelage of her mother and guru, Smt. Sushma Yechuri, at Kalamandapam Kuchipudi Dance School. In 2018, she marked her official debut as a Kuchipudi dancer by completing her Rangapravesam. Following her debut, Nithika officially joined the faculty at Kalamandapam Kuchipudi Dance School. As a senior student and young teacher, she is actively involved in assisting with choreography, mentoring younger students, and organizing school performances. Her creative contributions extend to collaborating on new dance ballets that integrate traditional Kuchipudi elements with fresh ideas. Nithika is currently a freshman pursuing Informatics at the University of Washington, Seattle, where she also serves as the lead choreographer for "Natya UW," representing the university. Her mother, Smt. Sushma Yechuri, is the founder of Kalamandapam Kuchipudi Dance School and received her training from Guru Smt. P. Rajeswari, a direct disciple of Padma Bhushan Vempati Chinna Satyam.
