Ojas Balluru is an emerging Indian classical dancer specializing in Odissi. She began her dance journey at the age of three and a half, and by five, she was formally learning Odissi from her mother, a professional Odissi dancer. At the age of eight, she won a national competition. Ojas is a senior disciple of Guru Sindhu Kiran and trains at the Rudra Nrityayogashala in Mysore, India. While primarily trained in Odissi and Hip-Hop, she has also explored other dance forms such as Bollywood, contemporary, Kathak, Mohiniyattam, Kalaripayattu, popping, and whacking. In 2022, at the age of 15, she performed a fusion of Odissi and Hip Hop. She also performed at the Mysuru Odissi Utsav in 2023. Awards & Honours: First prize for a state level competition, National competition.
