Smt. Parimala Hansoge is an accomplished Bharatanatyam artist, revered teacher, and the Artistic Director of Kalāvāhini Dance Academy. Her training is rooted in the illustrious Kalakshetra style, having studied under eminent Gurus Smt. Vandya Srinath in Bangalore and Guru Smt. Mythili Raghavan in Pune. She holds an MA in Performing Arts from Nalanda Nritya Kala Mahavidyalaya, Mumbai, and an MA in Professional Practice: Dance Technique Pedagogy from Middlesex University, London. An approved tutor of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD), London, Parimala Hansoge guides students globally through ISTD qualifications and has led many to their Rangapravesha in North Wales, UK. She is also an empanelled artist of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), representing Indian classical dance internationally through performances and collaborations across the UAE, UK, and US, including at the OJAS Sangam Festival in 2021. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes Bharatanatyam as a journey of discipline, dedication, and devotion, aiming to nurture both artistry and character in her students. Through Kalāvāhini Dance Academy, she also engages in community outreach to enrich cultural awareness. She has performed at prestigious venues such as the Shaniwarawada festival in Pune, Kala Academy Goa, Natyajanli Dubai, and Sai Nrityotsav in Bangalore. Awards & Honours: Nritya Nipuna (2014).
