Parul Khurana is an Indian classical Kathak dancer and trainer, dedicated to spreading the joy and artistry of this ancient dance form. She is the founder of 'Kathak with Parul' and 'Joyful Kathak Hub', communities established in 2023 to help women find inner joy and happiness through Kathak. Khurana began her Kathak training in childhood under the tutelage of Late Pt. Birju Maharaj. Her initial instruction was also received from Ms. Kalpana Verma, a close disciple of Maharajji. With over two decades of learning the dance form, she has been teaching Kathak for over a decade, transitioning to online instruction during the pandemic to reach a wider audience globally. Her mission is to help women achieve confidence, joy, and a spiritual lifestyle through Kathak, emphasizing that age is no barrier to learning. She has performed at various shows in India and Southeast Asia. Khurana integrates spiritual elements and meditation into her Kathak coaching, aiming to foster self-growth, body and mind coordination, and emotional healing among her students.
