Pavanee Kalvakalva is a distinguished Indian classical Kathak dancer and a dedicated teacher. She holds the esteemed title of Doordarshan Graded Artist, a recognition for performing artists in India. Kalvakalva is also a lead dancer at NADAM (Nartanam Academy of Dance and Music), a prominent Kathak and Bharatanatyam teaching and performing society based in Bangalore. Her performances have graced national and international stages, including a Kathak dance recital at the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre, Embassy of India in Bangkok, Thailand, in February 2026. She has also presented solo Kathak performances in Chennai, India, and conducted intermediate-level Kathak workshops, such as one at the Taraana Academy Of Kathak Dance. Her artistry is characterized by a commitment to popularizing Kathak for contemporary audiences, often through collaborations with musicians, artists, and designers.
