Poornima Murali is a Bharatanatyam dancer based in Phoenix, Arizona, United States. She has been practicing the classical Indian dance form for 25 years. Poornima initially received her training under Srimati Krishna Kumari Narendran from Chennai. She is currently continuing her Bharatanatyam studies under the guidance of Srimati Shweta Prachande. Poornima Murali is an active performer in the Arizona dance community. In 2023, she participated in the "Growing Roots" dance festival, where she presented a Pushpanjali in Ragam Tilang and a composition describing the joyous dancing of Lord Ganesha. She also performed a Madhurashtakam in Ragamalika Talam ADI, choreographed by Sri Pavitra. In 2024, Poornima Murali was involved in the inauguration of "Natya Vaibavam" alongside other gurus and students for the Fine Arts Association of Arizona. She is also slated to present at "The Natya Conference 2025" in Arizona.
