Pracheeti Dange is an award-winning and internationally acclaimed Odissi dancer, teacher, and choreographer from Pune, India. With over 20 years of experience in Odissi, she has performed in numerous prestigious concerts and festivals worldwide. Dange is an empanelled artist with the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), Government of India. She received her training under the guidance of renowned Kathak and Odissi exponent, Guru Smt. Yogini Gandhi, at the Kalanidhi Institute for 12 years. To further her theoretical knowledge of dance, she successfully completed a Diploma in Nrityashastra from the Nalanda Dance Research Centre, Mumbai. Pracheeti Dange is the founder of the Pracheeti Odissi Dance Academy, established in Pune, where she has been imparting training to aspiring Odissi dancers since July 2009. Her teaching methodology focuses on providing a strong foundation in Odissi technique, encompassing body-conditioning, yoga, music, history, and theoretical knowledge of the dance form. She has choreographed various solo and group dance presentations, exploring both traditional and contemporary themes. Dange has also had the privilege of receiving blessings from legendary maestros such as Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra, Pandit Birju Maharaj, Smt. Sujata Mohapatra, Smt. Kumkum Lal, and Guru Lingaraj Pradhan through various workshops and seminars. Awards & Honours: Nritya Shree (2010), Odissi Prativa (2013), First prize in national level competition (2013).
