Prema Satish Reddy is an Indian classical dancer specializing in Bharatanatyam, having received her training under the esteemed Guru Subbaraya Pillai. She is recognized for her significant contributions to the promotion and development of Indian classical dance, particularly her efforts in supporting male dancers. Prema Satish Reddy is actively involved with the Natyanjali Trust, an organization founded by her late mother, Jayalakshmi Sadagopan. Under her guidance, the Natyanjali Trust has been responsible for organizing the annual Nartaka Festival in Chennai, India. This festival serves as a crucial platform for showcasing classical dance talent. As of November 2012, the Nartaka Festival had been successfully presented for six consecutive years in Chennai, demonstrating the Trust's enduring commitment to the arts and its role in enriching the city's cultural landscape. In recognition of her dedicated work, Prema Satish Reddy was honored with the Purush Award. This prestigious award was presented to her by the Sutra Foundation during the Nartaka Dance Festival.
