🪔 About
Priyambada Pattnaik is an accomplished Indian classical Odissi dancer and teacher with two decades of experience in the art form. Hailing from a traditional artistic family in Odisha, she is the granddaughter of the esteemed Odissi maestro, the late Pandit Chandrashekhar Pattnaik. Her foundational training in Odissi began under the tutelage of her father, the late Indra Kumar Pattnaik. She further honed her skills through a decade-long discipleship with the Gotipua Guru, the late Mahadev Rout. In 1993, Priyambada Pattnaik relocated to Bhubaneswar to pursue advanced training, receiving guidance from prominent gurus such as Guru Gangadhar Pradhan and Guru Bichitrananda Swain. Her extensive training also includes a seven-year period at the internationally acclaimed Nrityagram, located in Bangalore. As a performer, Priyambada Pattnaik has graced stages both across India and internationally. Currently, she is actively involved in imparting her knowledge and expertise in Odissi dance as a teacher at the prestigious Sri Ram Bharatiya Kala Kendra in New Delhi.
