Reshma Nagar is a dedicated Kathak guru and the visionary founder of Synchrony Kathak Dance Academy, established in 2014 in Surat, India. Her profound journey in Kathak spans over 24 years, during which she has rigorously trained under the esteemed guidance of Pt. Harish Gangani Ji. Pt. Harish Gangani Ji is a distinguished Kathak Maestro of the Jaipur Gharana, himself a direct disciple of the legendary Pt. Sundarlal Gangani Ji, thus placing Reshma Nagar within a rich and respected lineage of Kathak tradition. Synchrony Kathak Dance Academy, with its primary branch in Pal, Surat, and an additional location at Unnati English Academy, Umra, Surat, serves as a vibrant hub for the preservation and promotion of Kathak. Reshma Nagar is deeply committed to upholding the Guru-Shishya Parampara, a traditional system of education where knowledge is imparted directly from teacher to student, fostering a deep understanding and appreciation of the art form. Under her leadership, the academy actively organizes and participates in significant cultural events. These include annual Guru Purnima celebrations, which honor the lineage of teachers, and the "SAMANVAYA – Indian Classical Dance Fest," a platform that brings together various classical dance forms.
