Ruchi Krishna is an accomplished Indian classical dancer primarily known for her Bharatanatyam performances, with training also in Kuchipudi. Born and raised in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, with her native roots in Kerala, she embarked on her dance journey at the age of six and made her stage debut at thirteen. She is a dedicated disciple of Natya Choodamani Nrithya Kala Bharathi Shri G Ratheesh Babu. Ruchi Krishna holds a diploma in Bharatanatyam from IKSVV, Khairagarh, Chhattisgarh, and is currently pursuing her Masters in Bharatanatyam from Chennai. Her career as a performer is extensive, having graced over 100 stages both within India and internationally. Her international performances include appearances in Malaysia, Bangkok, and Vietnam, facilitated by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR). She has also performed at significant events such as the Natarajothsava in Mysore and was featured as a guest artist at Theater de Vaillant in The Hague, Netherlands, where she presented a Padam on Sri Krishna. Ruchi Krishna's talent has been recognized with several prestigious awards, including an award in the Kuchipudi category at the 20th National Youth Festival, a Senior Scholarship from the Central Government of India, and the Nalanda Nritya Nipuna Award from the Nalanda Dance Research Centre, Mumbai. Beyond her stage performances, she is also a content creator on various social media platforms, actively sharing her passion for Indian classical dance.
